What is the GLOBAL G.A.P standard?

GLOBALG.A.P. certification is a certification of Global Good Agricultural Practice. GLOBALG.A.P. brings together good agricultural practices to ensure quality, food safety, product traceability, environmental protection and health, and social security for workers with the aim of creating a safe and sustainable agriculture worldwide. Currently, GLOBALG.A.P. standard is issued for the fields of Crop, Livestock and Aquaculture. The GLOBALG.A.P. standard is owned by Food PLUS and the latest version of GLOBALG.A.P. is version 6.0.

Validity of GLOBAL G.A.P Certificate

GLOBALG.A.P. certificate is valid for up to 3 years. During the validity period of the certificate, it is necessary to surveillance audit periodically at least 02 times with a frequency of every 12 months. At the end of this period, CGLOBAL-KH will conduct a reassessment to reissue the same certificate as the first audit.

How long does it take from full documentation to certificate?

GLOBALG.A.P. has 252 criteria, including 36 that are 100% compliant, 127 that must be 95% compliant, and 89 recommendations that should be implemented.

Enterprises need to be consulted or establish their own, apply the food safety management system according to GLOBALG.A.P., then send the certification application to CGLOBAL-KH. The time for issuance of the Certificate is based on the time of the end of the official assessment and the customer provides sufficient corrective evidence (if there is an inconsistency in the evaluation process). The time for certification is usually 15 to 25 days after the formal assessment at the business ends (however, it depends on the customer providing sufficient evidence to correct the nonconformity if any).
